Welcome to EcoFamilies. By accessing or using our platform, mobile application, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading our app, or otherwise accessing EcoFamilies services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use EcoFamilies. By using our platform, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using our services under applicable law or applicable international law
• Your account is for your own personal or business use, not on behalf of others without authorization

3. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Not create accounts using false identities, automated methods, or on behalf of others without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

4. Platform Use

EcoFamilies grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our platform for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may use EcoFamilies to:

• Browse and discover verified merchants and their offers
• Earn and redeem loyalty points through verified merchant visits
• Read and engage with EcoMagazine content
• Participate in campaigns and voting activities
• Contact our support team

5. Merchant Terms

Merchants using EcoFamilies are subject to additional terms outlined in the Merchant Agreement provided during registration. Key obligations include:

• Providing accurate business information and keeping it up to date
• Honoring all offers and deals listed on the platform for valid members
• Maintaining the quality of goods and services as represented
• Complying with all applicable consumer protection laws
• Paying platform commissions as outlined in the Merchant Agreement

EcoFamilies reserves the right to suspend or remove merchants who fail to honor listed offers or who receive persistent negative reviews without resolution.

6. Payments & Wallet

EcoFamilies may offer a digital wallet for loyalty points and certain payment features. By using wallet features:

• You agree that loyalty points have no cash value unless explicitly stated
• Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity
• Fraudulent manipulation of points is grounds for immediate account termination
• Refund policies are determined by individual merchants for their goods/services

7. Intellectual Property

All content on EcoFamilies — including our logo, design, text, graphics, software, and trademarks — is the property of EcoFamilies or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting content (reviews, photos, business listings), you grant EcoFamilies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from our platform
• Spam other users or merchants with unsolicited communications
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or voting results
• Impersonate EcoFamilies staff, merchants, or other users

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to EcoFamilies at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, merchants, or EcoFamilies. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcoFamilies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform, including disputes between families and merchants, loss of data, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of EcoFamilies shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the your jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
